Privacy & cookie policy
What happens to your information, written so you can actually read it.
Last updated September 2026. This policy covers the Andy Porter courses site. The main site, andy-porter.co.uk, has its own policy.
Who is responsible for your data
Spiritinspiredhealing Ltd is the data controller. It is registered in England and Wales, company number 13651475, with its registered office at 7/8 Avon Reach, Monkton Hill, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 1EE, United Kingdom. Andy and Jayne Porter are the people you will deal with. For anything to do with your personal information, write to contact@andy-porter.co.uk.
What is collected, and when
- When you create an account: your name, email address and a password. The password is stored encrypted and nobody here can read it.
- When you take a course: which courses you have joined, the lessons you have completed, and any quiz answers, so that your progress is saved.
- When you buy a course: your name, billing address, email address and order details.
- When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you write in the message.
- When you simply visit: standard server logs, and the cookies described below.
Card details
We never see them. Card payments go through Stripe or PayPal, and card numbers do not reach us, are not stored by us, and never touch this website.
What it is used for
- Giving you access to the courses you have joined or bought
- Saving your progress
- Replying to you
- Sending emails about your account, your orders and the courses you are on
- Meeting legal obligations, principally keeping financial records
Your information is never sold, and it is never passed to anybody for their own marketing.
How long it is kept
- Your account and course progress: for as long as you have an account. Ask us to close it at any time.
- Enquiries: up to 12 months, then deleted
- Order and financial records: 6 years, as HMRC requires
Cookies
This site uses essential cookies only: the ones that keep you logged in, remember your basket and make checkout work. Without them you could not use the courses at all.
Other companies involved
Running the site means using other services, each with its own privacy policy: the web host, Stripe and PayPal for payments, and the video platform that plays the course recordings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, where we are not legally required to keep it
- Restrict or object to how it is used
- Withdraw consent, at any time, where consent was the basis for it
Email contact@andy-porter.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please tell us first so we can put it right.
Children
The courses are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
